Logan Reserve residents were in for a surprise last week when a huge bull escaped its enclosure and began wandering the suburb.
The bull was photographed wandering close to Bishampton Crescent and Chambers Flat Road in Logan Reserve.
Local resident Tarra Eaton noticed the new neighbour roaming the street when she returned home from the shops.
‘It was definitely something different and unexpected, it’s not often you come home to a bull being in your street!’ Ms. Eaton said.
The bull, which had escaped from a nearby enclosure, was found peacefully snacking on some roadside grass.
Ms. Eaton rang animal control and waited until they arrived, and the bull was quickly returned to its paddock.
Every now and then a strange animal will pop up on Lost and Found Pets in Logan Facebook page.
‘Having a nice feed of grass,’ one resident wrote. ‘Hopefully the owner retrieves it before it gets hit by traffic!’
‘He looks like he’s having a great time,’ another resident wrote.
If you come across a dangerous animal in public, always follow Ms. Eaton’s lead and call animal control immediately.
