Centenary BMX Jumps Into 2020

Centenary Plains BMX  became the new name for the Browns Plains BMX as it merged in 1998. Located at Waller Rd, Browns Plains the club has gone from strength to strength. It is a supportive environment for Riders (new and existing) and families.  The new start hill has been installed recently by council.  On the 14th December they held their BMX Qld C1 International Elite Qualifying event. There were  very talented competitors competing on the day.  The winner of the two day event was Logan Martin a very impressive display of skill that impressed spectators.  Logan in 2019 was 2nd in the world and World Champ 2017.  This event also provides competitors with the ability to compete in the Olympic games.  Other international  competitors in attendance was Hannah Roberts from the US Champ 2019. I met a couple of the board members Gavin Williamson and Darryl Stuart and Club Manager Christopher Pilkington. The Club recommences in Mid-February and Coaching sessions are run regularly. This facility was keenly supported by former Divisional Councillor/Acting Mayor Cherie Dalley in which the club have appreciated all the support provided by council to have this great facility.
