ENVIRONMENT
How will you navigate the tension between more people moving into the area and the needs of wildlife and the environment?
Conflict between people and animals is one of the main threats to the continued survival of many species. The members of the council will need to find adequate solutions to conflicts. Development creates environmental degradation. But before such developments if the environment is provided some protection against the harmful effects of development then I think together with the council team and local community, to some extent balance between environment and economic development will be achieved.
TRANSPORT
What are the highest priority transport services and infrastructure you will be advocating for in your division?
After speaking with the local residents of Division 9 there is a real need for more public transport within the area. I will be working with the council to advocate for more bus services to enhance the transport options for residents living in Division 9.
INFRASTRUCTURE SPENDING
What can Division 7, 8, 9 & 11 councillors do to assure more of the city budget is invested in the west?
The council members will be working as a team, administrators have put in place guidelines and procedures which as a councillor I will be working hard to ensure Division 9 residents will be adequately supported by the budget.
FREE HIT
What do you think is the most important issue facing your division and how will you respond to it?
Roads and public safety are one of the most important issues that need to be addressed in Division 9. I will be working with the local community and conversing with the council members to ensure infrastructure is implemented where the key areas for roads and public safety are identified.

PERSONAL
How were you involved in your division prior to announcing your candidacy?
I have had a long- term connection with Division 9 as my parents met at a dance at the Jimboomba hall in 1964. I have fond memories of my childhood, swimming at Macleans Bridge with family and cousins, playing at local parks, attending local markets, I attended the Jimboomba eats and beats recently and was amazed by the community spirit. I have a strong family connection ranging from Boonah to Greenbank.
