The Logan City Council’s “Krank” program is offering free and low-cost school holiday activities from Saturday 8 January to Sunday 23 January 2022 for children and teens in Logan aged 5-17.
A huge variety of options would be available to choose from, including outdoor sports and creative activities, gardening sessions, water games, clay and craft activities, cupcake workshops and stingray and shark experiences.
City Lifestyle Chair Councillor Laurie Koranski encouraged parents to book their child in early for KRANK’s January school holiday program to avoid missing out on the fun activities on offer.
“We urge people to register as soon as bookings open because some spaces are limited at several KRANK activities,” Cr Koranski said.
“This program is a great way to keep boredom at bay as it offers a range of free or low-cost activities covering a variety of interests.
“It also helps to get local children outdoors and allows them to try new and fun activities.”
KRANK’s activities will be held at outdoor and indoor locations in the City of Logan between Saturday, January 8 and Sunday, January 23.
Gardening sessions, water games, clay and craft activities, cupcake workshops and stingray and shark experiences would be among activities on offer.
Bookings for day activities will open at:
9.00am, Monday 13 December, 2021 for the January school holiday program.
9.00am, Monday 21 March, 2022 for the April school holiday program.
The January and April school holiday program booklets will be available to download from the Krank School Holiday Program Activity page shortly, and a limited number of printed KRANK activity booklets will be available at libraries and customer service centres.
Bookings for activities would need to be made directly through the relevant activity service providers.
