Love Nikki-Dress UP Queen is a mobile role-playing game centred around dressing-up created by Nikki Games and published by Elex.
When the game was first suggested to me, it seemed like a very innocent dress up that primary school students would play after getting home from school. However, I was intrigued by the very well-done animation and design of the characters and clothing.
So, I gave the game a chance, and I don’t regret it! From the very first moment, the story-line drew me in. As I continued playing, the story just continued to draw me in with its complexity and uniqueness.
Not to mention that the clothing have been exquisitely designed! As you continue to play and level up, the clothes just get better. Pieces of clothing can also be a part of a gorgeous outfit set, but can still be mixed and matched with other pieces of clothing to create your own outfit.
One thing I love about this game is the diversity of the style of clothes, shown through the ‘7 Nations’ within the game.
The ‘Apple Federal’ Nation represents a modern style of clothing. The ‘Lilith Kingdom’ is a fairyland with a cute and sweet style of fashion that is similar to that of clothing a doll. Within the ‘Pigeon Kingdom’ Europe’s historical fashion can be seen, however, with elements of fantasy. The ‘North Kingdom’ styles clothing suitable for Winter as well as for battle. The ‘Republic of Wasteland’ tend to have clothing that are within the tribal and aboriginal style and takes inspiration from many cultures. The last two nations are my favourite. ‘Ruin Island’ takes fashion to another level as it puts a futuristic spin on it as it mixes technology with fashion. Lastly, ‘Cloud Empire’ encaptures ancient Chinese clothing that are elegant and oriental.
Overall, I really love playing this game, especially when it comes to collecting all the beautiful outfits and clothing. Not to mention, there is so much more to this game then just dressing up!
