Park Ridge Business Connect Breakfast

The March meeting of the monthly Park Ridge Business Connect breakfast was held at Park Ridge Tavern. Local business owners and community leaders spent time sharing how they were managing industry changes due to COVID-19 restrictions. The challenges in front of us are an opportunity for innovation.

Bert van Manen, local Federal Member for Forde, was present to update leaders on the status of the Federal government response to the virus in the community. He also gave business owners insight into the stimulus packages that are available to small business owners to help keep them afloat and keep people employed.

Park Ridge Connect Director, Paul Jackson, also shared on a local initiative to help Logan West businesses to build local clientele while supporting the charities of their choice. The initiative is called Check-In For Charity and will be run throughout the month of May. More details can be found on the back page of this issue or visit www.checkinforcharity.com.au.
