PRBizConnect Team Day at Kingston Park Raceway Jamie Furness 2021-06-02 1 min read Logan West businesses enjoyed a team-building night at Kingston Park Raceway on Wednesday 9 May, 2021. The first ever PRBizConnect event was an opportunity for local businesses to bring their staff out for a fun team experience together while connecting with other local businesses. The PRBizConnect event was attended by staff from Plants by Wendy, Harveys Towing, Brisbane Magnetic Services, Eden Trees Arboriculture Services, PR News, Café 107 Browns Plains, ICCON, Logan City Council, Ashawed Accounting, and Perfekt Studios. Guests were split into 20 teams of three before battling for first place on the racetrack in a timed competition. With team members rotating every five laps during the 45-lap race, teamwork and communication was essential between drivers and their teammates in the pit-stop area. Eden Trees Arboriculture Services arborist and owner Phil Hackett said the event was very well-organised and run. “It was a fantastic night of fun, team work and adrenaline. “Our whole team had a blast,” he said. Wendy from Plants by Wendy said it was a great way for her staff to bond and connect as a team and other meet other business teams. “It’s so nice to befriend others in different fields in our area,” she said. “Will definitely be signing up to more of these events!” Congratulations and trophies were awarded to the team members in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. A special trophy was given to the team in last place, who received the Kingston Park Raceway “Magoo Award”. Teams who received 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place took to the podium to receive their trophies. The event was organised by Kingston Park Raceway marketing manager Peter Chapman. Park Ridge Connect manager Paul Jackson said PRBizConnect would organise for their next Team Day to be a golf event in Spring.
