I have been a local Jordan resident for 11 years. I am a self-employed businessman for over 30 years now. I am married now for 30 years with three beautiful children.
What qualities, experience or skills make you stand out as a candidate?
As a self-employed businessman for over 30 years, I bring a lot to the table – a passion for my community, I know what it is to fight for something and never give up until we achieve our goal. I know what it is to struggle and to fight your way back up.
How were you involved in your electorate prior to announcing your candidacy?
I have been involved in several elections supporting our candidates both state and Federal, only just recently supporting our Federal team getting a resounding victory over Labor- for the very simple reason, LNP creates more jobs, wealth and freedom and the electorate knew this particularly in Queensland with a landslide victory. Locally I am involved in the West Morton Region SEC working on local issues and how we can support these.
What is one thing you’d like to achieve during the next term of government?
In Jordan, to Establish a fully functional Public Hospital in Springfield creating 800 construction jobs and 1400 jobs once completed. Plus a Hospital that gives the community 250 new beds, intensive care, birthing suites, emergency, helipad, 24/7, servicing 48000 strong community and 190000 people in the greater community surrounding areas. I will work tirelessly to see this established for our community.
How can residents in your electorate be involved and empowered to solve local problems together with you?
If elected, we will engage with the local community its organisations, community services and business leaders and church leaders to establish what’s needed in our community and we together can improve and solve community issues.
Environment – How will you navigate the tension between more people moving into the area and the needs of wildlife and the environment?
We are concerned about wildlife as residents and will work closely with Council on their strategies along this line.
Transport – What are the highest priority transport services and infrastructure you will be advocating for in your electorate?
The expansion of the centenary highway as it crosses the Logan Motorway. And upgrades to roads through Greenbank/ Parkridge
Infrastructure Spending – What can you do make infrastructure spending in Logan West a priority for the next government?
We are already working on this, with the announcement we are supporting a Fully Operational Public Hospital in concert with Mater Hospital group.
Inland Rail – What can you do as a local member to help residents affected by the inland rail project?

1- Health Care. Build a fully functional Public Hospital.
2- Roads- Ensure major arterials are large enough to accommodate the growing population
