Chris Kassulke celebrates 2019 Premiership with Club President Andy Colenso and Vice President Colin Lang

On Saturday 25th July Park Ridge Senior Player Chris Kassulke celebrated his 100th Seniors game for the club. Sulks, as he is known around the club, has been at Pirates since its Seniors inception in 2013 and is a former Club Captain. He was also involved in both Premierships in 2018 and 2019 and is a former Park Ridge High School student, so he is a true blue local.

Known as the spiritual leader out on the field because of his huge frame and larger than life attitude, Sulks becomes only the second Pirates player to achieve the 100 Game milestone. The other was Brandon Cherry.

Sulks’ long service to the club has not just been as a player. He was also involved as an Assistant Coach with the successful U14’s Premiership side in 2013.

Park Ridge Seniors have started their 2020 campaign in great style winning their first two games of the season, and the Reserves winning one game of the two they have played. The Pirates’ next home game is 15th August against Moreton Bay with Seniors at 2pm and Reserves at midday. Home games are played at Park Ridge High School, and spectators are always welcome to come cheer on their local team on.
