Townsville artist brings Flood Song to Park Ridge

Singer/songwriter, Jade Holland released her second album ‘Dream Wild’ last year to critical acclaim with the single ‘Drive Thru’ being streamed over 900,000 times. She kicked off 2019 with First Prize at the International Acoustic Music Awards with her track, ‘That’s The Wine’. This was a first for an Australian artist in a long time! Jade is ecstatic about the accolade and intends to share this with her Australian fans and give back to her local community.

Hailing from Townsville, Jade Holland returned home during the recent floods and saw first-hand her family and friends lives on the lawn. In a few hours Jade had mobilized two other local songwriters Tammy Moxon and Dean Gilboy, who collaborated with her and they wrote the track, ‘Lives on the Lawn’, after shedding many a tear.

Now, Jade is bringing ‘Lives on the Lawn’ to Park Ridge Tavern to assist in raising funds for her beloved community. ‘Lives on The Lawn’, debuted to a capacity crowd on the big screen at the first QLD Cowboys home game.
