Volunteers in Policing (ViPs) from Browns Plains Police Station have been busy over the last two weeks delivering crime prevention brochures to residents in Forestdale.

Three ViPs have been out travelling in the station’s all terrain vehicle meeting and greeting the local Forestdale residents.

If the residents were lucky enough to be home, they spoke with them about crime prevention initiatives.

Those that weren’t home had the information left in their letterboxes.

It is a timely reminder to all residents to ensure their homes are secured when they aren’t there, and valuables aren’t left in plain sight in unoccupied vehicles.

Browns Plains Police are extremely grateful for the valuable time and effort our motivated volunteers give towards reducing crime.

A big thank you goes out to Vyv Dance (OAM), Glenda Dunn, Ryan Hanser and John Cheshire.
