Using the Logan West Community Centre without guesswork

A guest-style civic note built only from Logan City Council’s published venue listing: 2 Wineglass Drive, Hillcrest 4118, under the Wineglass water tower.

This guest-style note is a model of the kind of community writing we will actually run. It does not invent a booking, a price, a “vibrant atmosphere,” or a named coordinator.

Logan City Council’s venue page lists the Logan West Community Centre at 2 Wineglass Drive, Hillcrest 4118, under the Wineglass water tower, with a waterfall garden and rotunda to the side and multiple rooms for hire. Hillcrest’s suburb history records the civic cluster that grew around that tower from the 1980s. Those are the facts.

If you need a room, use council’s current hire process — not a news paragraph. If you are advertising a public event that is already booked, send the official listing to the newsroom with the date and who is welcome. If you are tempted to write “the heart of Logan West” without a document, stop. The centre is a building with an address. That is better than a slogan.
